Stodacom Desktop · Verification, Screening & Workforce Risk Intelligence
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They let the site remember your session and preferences, so you don't have to re-enter settings each time you return.
Stodacom Desktop uses cookies and similar technologies (including browser local storage for non-sensitive display preferences) on this platform to keep you securely signed in and to remember your interface settings.
These are the cookies our own platform sets. We do not sell or share this data with third-party advertisers.
| Cookie Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| PHPSESSID | Essential | Maintains your authenticated session while logged in | Session |
| trusted_device | Security | Remembers a device you've marked as trusted, to streamline sign-in | 30 days |
| sidebar_expanded | Preference | Remembers whether your navigation sidebar is expanded or collapsed | 1 year |
Your display theme (light/dark) is remembered using browser local storage rather than a cookie, and never leaves your device.
The PHPSESSID and trusted_device cookies above are strictly necessary for the platform to function — they enable login, session security, and CSRF protection (which uses a token stored in your session, submitted with each form). Without these, the Service cannot be provided, and they cannot be disabled.
By default, this platform loads Google's gtag.js for Google Ads conversion
tracking. This is a third-party script controlled by Google and may set its own
cookies in your browser, governed by
Google's Privacy Policy.
Turning off "Advertising" in the preference toggle below stops this script from
loading on your next page view (it is read server-side, so the change applies as
soon as you save and reload).
Essential and security cookies cannot be disabled, as they are required for the platform to operate safely. Your choice below is saved to your browser for our own records.
Under GDPR and other applicable data protection law, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of data collected through cookies. Most browsers also let you manage or block cookies under Settings → Privacy & Security — note that blocking essential cookies will prevent you from logging in.
To submit a cookie-related data request, email us at support@stodacomdesktop.com. See our full Privacy Policy for more on your rights.
We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in technology, regulation, or the cookies we use. Material changes will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the platform after an update constitutes acceptance.
